Went to my first Athena meeting today in Guildford. What a wonderful group of women! So welcoming and so supportive. There must have been 25 of us and there was lots of interest in the first hens dancing event in Guildford on 20th October which is a Supper Club at Olivetto's.
Jose talked about what hypnotherapy can do for you and it sounded amazing. I would love to be able to self-hypnotise. Great when life's all pililng up on top of you and you just want to escape for a while!

- I’ve noticed that women tend to want more from life as they get older – not less! They are no longer content with their lot and want to try new things. More and more women in their forties/fifties and beyond are setting up their own businesses; some feel liberated when the kids get older and want to rejuvenate their social lives; others decide it’s ‘me time’ and decide to do something extraordinary. One thing I’m sure of, when a group of like-minded women get together for a special event or even just a glass of wine there’s a lot of fun to be had, a special camaraderie filling the air, and an understanding and mutual support that’s hard to find anywhere else. That’s why I started hens dancing.
